Never a dull moment!

There is never a dull moment around here! DJ is in ABA now instead of the developmental preschool where we originally had him attending. His progress report was still at baseline. There had been no progress in 5 months.  His speech has gotten much better with therapy though! He is talking more and most words can be understood, although he still calls Andy "Eggy" when he is excited or upset.  DJ will also be attending occupational therapy where he receives ABA services, which he wasn't receiving at the school. The therapist is familiar with ARFID and is willing to work on getting him to try new textures.

Andy is now in occupation therapy and is currently seeing the same therapist as Gracie. Sierra is in physical therapy, also. We have about 6-8 appointments a week just in therapies! If it wasn't for DJ receiving his at his ABA and Sierra's aide taking her to her appointments I would be going insane! Hopefully the additional therapies will help everyone.

Richard has been having some medical issues, leading to him getting put on blood pressure medication today. He has been having some severe dizziness every time he would go to stand or having a lot of bending over (like at his job) and he would almost pass out. We teasing that he probably had POTS too, which would be insane to think about really. Hopefully his new meds will help and get his blood pressure under control.

Sierra has been having a really tough time. Her FND symptoms have been really intense lately. She actually fell into me on Saturday when she was getting something out of the refrigerator. I know her cycle, the 3 weather systems we currently have, and the full moon that is in a couple days have a lot to do with it. But it is so hard to watch my kid be unable to get out of bed and just be completely miserable with all of the medical issues she has going on. I can't wait for it to warm up so everyone can start to feel a little better!
